Western Nevada Medical Reserve Corps is an organized group of medical and non-medical volunteers who support response activities in times of disaster, and support the Surgeon General’s initiatives for healthy communities at other times. The Medical Reserve corps offers training in the Incident Command System, First Aid and AED, Psychological First Aid and other interesting topics. The western Nevada MRC also participates in emergency preparedness drills and exercises, such as our annual flu immunization clinic held in October.
