Welcome to the Environmental Health Division!

 

 

Our office oversees both Carson County and Douglas County, Nevada in the areas of: Public pools and spas, food establishments, body art, wells, septic systems, childcare facilities, mobile food establishments, temporary events, mosquito abatement, cottage food, public accommodations, schools and institutions, emergency response, and more.

The Carson City-Douglas County Public Health Regional Partnership, Environmental Health Division is designed to protect and promote the health and safety of the community through education, intervention, prevention, and assistance to people residing in or visiting our city so they can work, raise families, recreate, and grow without the threat of foodborne, water borne, vector borne, environmental outbreak, or illness emergencies.
